Doctrinal Statement

  1. The Bible, both the Old and New Testament, is given by inspiration of God, and is the final authority in all matters of doctrine, faith, and life. II Timothy 3: 16, 17.
  2. There is One God, eternally existing in Three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Deuteronomy 6:4, Mark 12:29;
    Matthew 28:19.
  3. Jesus Christ is God the Son, eternally God, begotten by the Holy Spirit of the Virgin Mary, and born both Man and God. Luke 1: 26 - 38; John 10:30; Colossians 2:9.
  4. God created the heavens and the earth, and He created Man in His own image. Genesis 1:1 - 27.
  5. All men (apart from our Lord Jesus Christ) have sinned, and fallen short of God's standard, and that the result of sin is death. Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23.
  6. Jesus Christ died for our sins when He was crucified on Calvary. I Corinthians 15:3.
  7. Jesus Christ is raised from the dead; He is ascended into Heaven; and He is now seated at the right hand of God, and is Lord of all. I Corinthians 15: 4; Ephesians 1:20; Hebrews 1:3.
  8. We are saved by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, unto eternal life, apart from works or religious observances. John 3: 16, Romans 3: 21 - 28; Romans 10: 9, 10.
  9. The Church is composed of all who are saved by faith in Christ Jesus, and is made one through the working of the Holy Spirit. I Corinthians 12: 4 - 31.
  10. We eagerly await the personal and soon coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. Acts 1:10, 11; John 14: 1 - 6;
    I Thessalonians 4: 13 - 18.
