The CHRISTIAN PROFESSIONAL NETWORK is pleased to continue its tradition of excellence by welcoming Dr. Tony Evans as its keynote speaker in 2010. Dr. Evans is one of the most dynamic and sought after speakers in America. He is best known to many through The Urban Alternative radio broadcast, carried on over 500 stations daily throughout the United States and in over 40 countries worldwide. He is often featured on the Promise Keepers platform, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Events, and at Bible Conferences in the United States and abroad. The dramatic growth of the CPN Conference is demonstrative of its relevance to Christians in business and in non-profit ministries. Dr. Woodrow Kroll of BACK TO THE BIBLE, our 2008 keynote speaker, called CPN “the best one day conference I have ever been a part of.” The Conference is again planning to present excellent education programs, combined with the best networking venue available to Christians in business, and with a keynote address from one of America’s leading speakers, bringing the Biblical themes of the Conference into clear focus. Christian business and ministry leaders are already expressing approval and support for Dr. Evans and the 2010 CPN Conference: Tony Evans is one of the most dynamitic Christian leaders I have had the privilege to follow. I have visited his church on every trip I make to Dallas. I am excited to be able to meet and hear Tony back in his hometown of Baltimore. Chuck Whitmore, Christian Business Men’s Connection. Tony Evans is not only a dynamic speaker and an integral part of our programming, he's also one of the nation's preeminent evangelical leaders, whose clear and passionate voice moves the heart and straightens the spine. Steve Lawhon, Shine 95.1 Radio. Dr. Evans is the Senior Pastor of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Dallas, Texas. The church started in 1976, with ten members meeting at his home. It now has more than 8,000 members and a national ministry. He is also the founder and president of The Urban Alternative, a national organization that seeks to bring about spiritual renewal in urban America through the Church. Dr. Evans is a graduate of Carver Bible College and Dallas Theological Seminary. He is the author of numerous books, and has served as the Chaplin for both the Dallas Cowboys and the Dallas Mavericks. He is married to Lois Evans, is the father of four and the grandfather of nine children. |
